Side zip knee high boots stop being a project when the closure runs the whole shaft and the heel stays low.

They sit close to the leg under a wool skirt or pull over a slim jean, with the line running straight from knee to toe. Twin buttons at the outer top edge are the only decoration, which is what keeps the pair wearable on an ordinary weekday.
